Emmanuel Turatsinze joins the School of Law with young enthusiasm, backed by his solid academic performance, recognized by the University of Rwanda as the best graduate of the Law School (2014). Before the School of Law, Emmanuel was serving at the University’s Center for Legal Aid and Mediation and later at Fountain Advocates, one of the leading Law Firms in Rwanda as the Associate Legal Officer. He was recently appointed as the Research Assistant to the Commission to Parliament for the review of the Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda of 04 June 2003 as amended to date.
He holds a bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with First Class Honours, from University of Rwanda’s College of Arts and Social Sciences, School of Law (2014); the Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development ILPD (2015). He has been a Tutorial Assistant at the School of Law since April 2015. His areas of interest include: Contracts Law, Business and Commercial law, Corporate and Insolvency Law, Financial and Investment Law as well as Employment and Labour. At the School of Law, he is a teaching assistant of Tort Law, Company Law, Economic and Financial Law.
Emmanuel is a native speaker of Kinyarwanda and has excellent command of English, French and has a working knowledge of Spanish and Swahili.

- Law of obligations, Commercial Law, Economic and Financial Law;
- Legal Clinic course;

Supervising at the Center for Legal Aid and mediation, which provides for free legal aid services to indigents;
